ふたりが全曲解説 (Songs explanation)

１．Arabesque～千夜一夜の夢～
アルバムのオ一プニングにふさわしい。パンチのきいた曲だよね。バラ一ドでしっとり始まるより、やっぱり、こうやって勢いよく始まるほうが好きだな。（光一）
Suits to be　the opening song of the album. Thought of using ballads.　However,　we feel that it’s better to start off the album with a song that contains strong beats. (Koichi)

２．Anniversary
いい曲だなぁと素直に思うね。結婚した方にもピッタリの歌詞で、「自分も結婚してちょっとたったら、こんな気持ちになるかな」とか思いながら歌ったよ。（剛）
Nice song. I sang this song with the thought of having the same feeling written in the lyrics after I get married. (Tsuyoshi)

３．恋涙
アルバムタイトルが「H」だから「Hな曲、作ろうか」って剛に話したんだけど、なかなかそういうイメ一ジで曲が浮かばなくて。で、ストックからこれを出したら、みんなに好評だった。（光一）
As this album’s title is gonna be H　album, we thought of using words that start with H while composing the song. However, we couldn’t think of any good words that start with H. Thus we decided to choose one of the songs we have in stock to launch in the new album as we have great comments from our staff after showing them RENRUI. (Koichi)
僕が詞を書いて、光一が曲を書いた。完全に恋の歌ですね。もう、どっぷり来いにハマってる感じ。うれし涙も含めて「恋涙」って、僕がつけましたね。（剛）
I wrote the lyrics and Koichi wrote the song. A song talking about love. Seems like the person who’s in love feels that he/she is too fortunate and overjoyed with tears. Thus, I call the song RENRUI, which is Love Tears. (Tsuyoshi)

４．「AOZORA」
歌詞を構成作家の高須（光聖）さんに書いていただいた曲。番組がごはんもごいっしょしたことあるけど、すごく素敵な詞を書く方なんだなと思いましたね。（剛）
A song written by a famous lyrics writer. I love this song very much.

５．キミハカルマ
今回のアルバムって、最初、バラ一ド曲が多かったんだよね。それに途中で気づいて、急きよ、このアップテンポな曲を入れようって、オレが提案しました。（光一）
This time we have a lot of ballads during the first few songs of the album.　As this is in the middle of the album, I suggested to put in more TEMPO UP song to build up the atmosphere of the album.　（Koichi）

６．Love Me More
スウェ一デン楽曲で、不思議な雰囲気の仕上がりになってる。オケは薄いんだけど、コ一ラスをいっぱい重ねて、声で曲に厚みを作ってみた感じ。（光一）
Sweden style of writing. Unbelievable atmosphere created while adding different layers of vocals throughout the song to thicken the texture of the song. (Koichi)

７．Breath
僕のソロ曲で、河口京吾さんに書いていただきました。あまり歌うことのないメロディ一で、河口さんが思う“堂本剛のイメ一ジ”がつまっていて新鮮。（剛）
A song written by a famous song composer creating the image of DOMOTO TSUYOSHI. Very fresh feeling.　(Tsuyoshi)

８．Water Screen ～theme of H～
「ビロ一ド～」発売記念イベントで使用された曲。
This theme music is used on the day of the launching ceremony of Velvet no Yami Single.

９．ビロ一ドの闇
今回、アルバムに収録するに当たって、特に変えた部分はないんだけど・・・・まぁ、この前のインスト曲からつながっていく感じも楽しんでもらえれば。（光一）
We decided to include this song because we feel that it would be a different feeling when listening to Velvet no Yami with the water screen theme. (Koichi)

１０．ダイヤモンド・スト一リ一
ゴ一イング・アンダ一グラウンドのヴォ一カルの松本素生さんに詞を書いていただきました。彼らの曲は聴いてたし、共通の知り合いもいて、縁を感じたね。（剛）
Lyrics by a famous lyrics writer. He wrote the lyrics after listening to the song we written. Exactly what we wanted eventually, very synchronized. (Tsuyoshi)

１１．駅までは同じ帰り道
この曲に限った作曲するようになったら、ほかの方が作った曲の音を取るのが難しくなった。それでハマることが今回多かったね。（光一）
Very catchy tune. If we use this direction to write other songs of the album, it will be more difficult while choosing the tune to go with. I feel that this time we have a lot of songs with catchy tunes. (Koichi)

１２．未完のラブ・ソング
これはね、僕が非常に好きな歌。僕らが今までアプロ一チしてない感じの曲で、メロディ一ラインもすごいキレイやし、シングルにしてもいいと思うぐらい。（剛）
I really love this song. It is the most beautiful melody line among so many songs we approached. It’s like it won’t be a problem if we launch this as a single. (Tsuyoshi)

１３．９９％LIBERTY
「ビロ一ドの闇」といっしょにシングル候補になった曲。これもすごくいい曲だけど、色あせないだろうしってことで、「ビロ一ド～」を先にリリ一スしたよ。（光一）
A song that was in the same waiting list as Velvet no Yami for single launching. As we felt it’s not time for us to sing this song at that time, we decided to launch Velvet no Yami first. （Koichi）

１４．In My Heart　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　ちょっとカ一ペンタ一ズ風なニュアンスを織り交ぜたバラ一ドで、いい曲です。これも僕らが今まで歌っていないようなアプロ一チで、新境地のひとつだね。（剛）
Sounds a bit like Carpenters style. Very nice song. It’s the first time we approach this genre. (Tsuyoshi)
